The Locking Solution For Riders

Challenge

Skateboards, surfboards, and scooters are frequently used for commuting and recreation, yet there is no widely available locking solution to secure them. Riders face limitations in where they can take their boards, often resorting to hiding them or risking theft when left unattended. This lack of security discourages riders from using their boards in certain environments, hindering their day to day.

Insight

The absence of skateboard locks isn’t due to a lack of demand but rather a lack of awareness and viable solutions. Many riders don’t realize a lock could exist, yet they frequently express frustration about restrictions on bringing boards into certain buildings. A well designed, purpose built lock would allow riders to confidently take their boards anywhere, expanding freedom and security.

Shredlok provides the first dedicated locking solution for skaters, surfers, and scooter riders. Designed specifically for their needs, it offers security without compromising portability.

Advertising

Portray dependable theft protection for skateboards in a real world scenario. By showing the skateboard locked among vulnerable bikes, the video positions Shredlok as a solution that performs beyond expectations, standing up for the rider even when traditional locks fail.
